Polycom Powercam
The PowerCam is Polycom’s primary camera for use with the VSX8000, VSX7000e, and VS4000 rack-mount based systems.

The PowerCam serves as the Infrared receiver for remote control commands being issued to the VSX rack-mount based systems.

This camera is required if you do a hide-away installation of your rack-mount system, and don’t have a third-party infrared receiver. This combines the camera and receiver in one-piece.
